Pharmaceutical Sciences GSA ~ 13th Annual Pharmaceutical Sciences Distinguished Alumni Symposium
May 2, 2017
FreeThe “13th Annual Pharmaceutical Sciences Distinguished Alumni Symposium” is an all-day event in which graduate students have the opportunity to meet with a prominent alumna/alumnus from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. This year we are pleased to announce Dr. Holly Kimko as the distinguished alumna. Dr. Kimko is a Scientific Director and Janssen Fellow at Janssen Research and Development of Johnson & Johnson from the Global Clinical Pharmacology Department. During this all-day event, graduate students will be invited to engage in a career development lunch with the keynote speaker, as well as have the opportunity to meet Dr. Kimko one-on-one to discuss research, network, and learn about opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. The day-long event will conclude with a keynote speech from Dr. Kimko entitled “How Does Modeling & Simulation Support Totality of Evidence for Regulatory Decisions?’ The keynote speech will be of interest to a variety of disciplines including, but not limited to Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, RPCI, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. We firmly believe that providing graduate students with the opportunity to meet a distinguished alumna will enhance their graduate student experience and inspire them to strive for similar success. A detailed description of the event will be advertised appropriately such that any interested person at the university might benefit from the event. The GSA will be visibly acknowledged as a cosponsor of the event.
