UBIT/Libraries Virtual Student Input Session
September 24 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Each fall and spring semester, UB Information Technology and University Libraries collaborate with students to determine the direction of technology and library resources at UB.
This semester, we hope you’ll lend your voice to the conversation. I’m writing to invite you, your leadership team and constituents to join us for a joint UBIT/Libraries virtual student input session on either Tuesday, September 24th from 3-4 p.m. or Thursday, October 3rd from 12-1 p.m.
To register for a session, please sign up by visiting our news article on the UBIT website. We will send a calendar invite with the Zoom link.
Students who participate in the session will be entered for a chance to win $25 Campus Cash.
Sessions like these inspired some of the best technology offerings for students at UB, including Ultrawide monitors for your laptop in Silverman, Adobe Photoshop and other Creative Cloud software in public computing sites, a major upgrade of campus Wi-Fi and more.
We greatly appreciate if you could please spread the word about the student input session to your board members and student constituents.
Also, we wanted to take this time to remind everyone that the UB Laptop Loan program is retiring in December 2025. UB remains committed to supporting students who need access to technology.
If you have any questions, or additional feedback you’d like to share, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly. Your voice matters!
