Are you interested in learning how your research can be translated to policy? Or being able to meet other graduate students outside of your own department? We welcome you to join the UB Science and Health Policy club this semester! If so, please fill out this form so you can be added to our email list for information on all upcoming events!

Our major goals for this club are to provide graduate students with opportunities to prepare for careers in science and health policy, to be a platform in which we can foster interests in science communication & advocacy, and to promote networking with others outside of our own fields. Our proposed activity list for the fall semester includes:

• What is science and health policy? Learn what science and health policy is and what our club is all about!
  • September 25^th on zoom! Please RSVP to this event using this link.
• How do I create a CV for jobs outside of academia? This will be a webinar focused on how to develop a CV that will land you a policy-focused position post-graduation.
  • October date TBD
• Networking November Panel! This series will focus on fostering relationships with people outside of the UB community.
  • November date TBD
• Holiday party! To relax and unwind at the end of the semester with others outside of your own department.
  • December date TBD
