The GSA Argentine Tango Club is hosting a weekend tango event April 9th and 10th which will include two full days of tango workshops by Avik Basu, a professional tango instructor based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Avik specializes in teaching social tango, emphasizing connection, musicality, and improvisation.  He has come to be known for his clear explanations, which expose the core of any tango idea, whether it be about movement or musicality.  Workshops will take place in Harriman Hall on South Campus.  All events are free for UB graduate students. Community members and undergraduate students can attend for $15 per workshop (total of 4 workshops over the two days), or $55 for a full weekend pass.
