Free

The UB Primatology Club presents our annual Primate Research Symposium on April 21, 2016. Graduate and undergraduate students from the University at Buffalo, Buffalo State University, and Canisius College will have the opportunity to present their research in various areas of primatology. All are welcome to attend! The symposium will start at 6:30 pm with our keynote address from Dr. Lisa Corewyn, assistant professor at Ithaca College, specifically discussing her research with male howler monkeys. We will then begin the hour long poster presentation session at 7:30 pm, followed by oral presentations from some of our graduate students. Those interested in presenting a poster should submit an abstract of 250-300 words to ericadun@buffalo.edu by April 18, 2016. Please note in the email subject that you are submitting an abstract to the UB Primate Symposium. In the abstract, please include information regarding 1) the general background of your study, including your main hypothesis and/or predictions, 2) your basic methodology, as well as 3) some of your results and 4) general conclusions. Food and drinks will be served! We hope to see you there and look forward to receiving your abstracts!
