We hope to see you at the 2nd Buffalo Food Policy Summit – Info Fair and Public Forum on 10/23!!!

The “Public Forum and Info Fair” will take place on Wednesday, October 23rd from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Burchfield Penney Arts Center.

This will be a festive gathering with free food, activities for all ages, information about local businesses and food advocacy organizations, a short play by Road Less Traveled Productions and a short speaking program with brief remarks by international food policy council expert, Wayne Roberts, with local experts Diane Picard (Massachusetts Ave Project) and Dan Oles (Promised Land CSA). You will also meet the new members of the Food Policy Council of Buffalo and Erie County!

The event is free and open to the public. Come early at 5pm to learn more about how to improve school meals at the Just Lead! Kick-off event.

This festive event will introduce the Food Policy Council of Buffalo and Erie County to policymakers and residents and describe how they can engage with the new Food Policy Council in creating a more just and sustainable food system. In particular this event will create an awareness of the role that our new FPC can play on behalf of residents. The event also seeks to gauge the food issues that matter to residents of the City of Buffalo.
