Chemistry Graduate Student Symposium
The 32nd Graduate Student Symposium (GSS) is an event that is organized entirely by graduate students from the Department of Chemistry. The GSS annually hosts ~100 graduate students from over a dozen institutions across the northeastern United States and Southern Ontario. This is an invaluable event for many graduate students who can participate by presenting a poster at the poster session and/or give a 15-20 minute talk about their research in a semi-formal setting. There is no registration fee, and meals are provided for all three days of the symposium. Each day will feature a different keynote speaking, including Prof. Stephanie Brock from Wayne State University, Prof. Chao-Jun Li from McGill University, and Prof. Mark Meyerhoff from the University of Michigan.
