Intercultural Leadership Retreat
January 24, 2018 - January 25, 2018
The Intercultural Leadership Retreat (ILR) is a joint program between the Intercultural and Diversity Center and the Student Engagement office. It is a 2 day (1 night) retreat designed to engage students in meaningful conversations about identity, values, beliefs, and the experiences that affect the ways we lead and the ways in which we view the world. The ILR will help UB students become advocates for change, encourage them to pursue their passions, and engage in responsible citizenship as they explore the relationship between leadership and diversity. Become an advocate for change. Examine your personal identity. Explore how diversity impacts leadership. At the Intercultural Leadership Retreat, you’ll engage in meaningful conversations about identity, values, beliefs and stereotypes as you develop your personal definitions of community, leadership and diversity. The retreat – which is available to students at no cost – includes meals, transportation, lodging, program materials and supplies. Applications open October 6 and close November 17 and can be found by going this form. Wednesday, January 24, 2017 8:00 a.m. – Thursday, January 25, 2017 5:00 p.m. College Lodge, SUNY Fredonia |
