To Whom It May Concern:
Attached please find a letter signed on to by the Student Assembly of the State University of New York and the students of New York Students Rising.
We strongly urge the New York State Legislature to pass, and the Governor to sign, a renewal of the Maintenance of Effort legislation. The students and families of the State University of New York have carried the financial burden of public higher education for far too long. It is long past time that the state pay its fair share.
Sincerely,
Marc Cohen
