Are you ready to hit the ground running? Enter the “Tell Me About Yourself” contest, powered by Grit Seed.
How it works
Participating students from the MS Accounting, MS Finance, MS Management Information Systems and MS Sustainable Transportation and Logistics programs will record their response to ‘Tell me about yourself.’ From those responses, each program will be judged by a panel of career advisors and will yield top 3 results. The results will be shared during each separate MS Advantage with evaluative comments on what they did well and what could have been improved. The top three winners from each program will receive:
- MS Accounting students will win an interview with KPMG, one of the Big Four accounting firms.
- MS MIS students will win an interview with Grit Seed, a Buffalo start up focusing on reimagining hiring and people engagement systems.
- MS Finance will win individual career preparation consultations with Amazon Finance recruiters.
- MS Sustainable Transportation and Logistics students will win an interview with Tesla
How to enter
Visit the link below for your program and watch the instructional video to learn how to rock a great “Tell me about yourself” video. Then, record yours and access Grit Seed to submit your video.
Answers will be evaluated on genuineness, authenticity, clarity and conciseness. The three top winners from each program will be announced at each MS Advantage. The No. 1 winner from each MS program will be placed back in the running for all four management MS programs for bragging rights and social media kudos.
