Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Book Club
Hello! We are looking to have a book club towards the end of this calendar year, focusing on Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates (https://www.amazon.com/Between-World-Ta-Nehisi-Coates-author/dp/0525510303). It is a fascinating and challenging read, examining the role of race in American culture. We are hoping to get a sense of what days/times would work best for folks. If you’d be interested in joining us, could you please take a look at this Doodle Poll and offer times when you would be able to make it? https://doodle.com/poll/qi9duq8szqgnmkq4
Sometime in late Spring of 2019, we’ll host another book club on Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance (https://www.amazon.com/Hillbilly-Elegy-Memoir-Family-Culture/dp/0062300547), an interesting personal memoir giving insights into cultural aspects in impoverished Appalachia.
