Getting to Buffalo

You can get to Buffalo by plane, train, or automobile. There are two airports near Buffalo, New York: the Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF), and the Niagara Falls International Airport (IAG). If you prefer trains, Buffalo has two Amtrak stations: the Depew Station (BUF) and the Exchange Street Station (BFX). Check relevant schedules for flights or trains that might work for you.

Public Transportation

Buffalo has a robust bus and subway services in the NFTA-Metro bus and rail system. Bus rides are $2 per ride or $5 for a 24-hour ticket, and the bus routes cover travel to the airport, the university, and most of downtown Buffalo.
