*Congratulations to Gretchen Perhamus on receiving the 2024 The Society for Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology/Division 53 of the American Psychological Association Student Achievement Award-Late Stage. 

*Congratulations to Gretchen Perhamus on receiving the UB 2024 Louis and Rosalie Rosati Award in Psychology.

*Congratulations to Dr. Ostrov who is the recipient of the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award from the College of Education and Human Development of the University of Minnesota. 

*Congratulations to Maggie Azu who received the 2024 Lagerspetz Award at the 2024 World Meeting of the International Society for Research on Aggression (ISRA).

*Congratulations to Maggie Azu who received the 2024 Psychological Association of Western New York (PAWNY) Scholarship for Racial/Ethnic Minority Doctoral Students in Clinical Psychology.

*Dr. Bri Memba (alumna) is now a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Chicago Medicine.

*Dr. Kristin Perry (alumna) is now an Assistant Professor in the Prevention Science Institute and Department of Counseling Psychology and Human Development at the University of Oregon. 

2023

*Congratulations to Dr. Kristin Perry on receiving the 2023 American Psychological Foundation (APF)/APA Division 49 Richard Moreland dissertation of the year award!

2022

*Congratulations to Dr. Kristin Perry who received her PhD in Clinical Psychology and is now a Post-Doctoral Fellow at The Pennsylvania State University in the Prevention and Methodology T32 NIH Supported Training Program. 


*Congratulations to Gretchen Perhamus (5th year doctoral candidate) who received a NRSA F31 Fellowship from NICHD to support her training for the next two years. Gretchen was also named a 2022 Young Investigator at the International Society for Research on Aggression (ISRA) World Meeting and was the recipient of the SUNY Great Award as well as the 2022 Murray Levine Graduate Award for Community Engagement in Psychology and the 2022 PAWNY sponsored Morton D. Brooks Scholarship Award! 


*Congratulations to Gabriela “Bri” Memba (5th year doctoral candidate) who received the 2022 Department of Psychology Excellence in Teaching Award and an award for her research presentation at the 8th Research Conference on Relational Aggression in July 2022.  


*The Lab recently received a competitive supplement to the NICHD supported FRIENDS grant to fund research on the impact of child masking on children’s adjustment as they transition from preschool to kindergarten. 


*The Lab received a new 5-year R01 grant (NICHD R01HD105496-01A1) to study a RCT of the Early Childhood Friendship Project with a teacher-coaching model. More information will be forthcoming under lab projects. New staff positions are anticipated and will be posted on the UB jobs site.
