Thursday, March 8th, 2018 Meeting
@ The Steer
I. Called Meeting to order by Michelle Gilliland
II. Attendance: Michelle Gilliland, Max Boasiak, Kwasi Adusei, Illyana Rahman, Marissa Fontanez, Madeline McMarrow
III. Motion made to Approval of December minutes-Motion made by Michelle Gilliland and seconded by Kwasi Adusei. Motion passed in favor 6-0-0 (In favor-opposed-abstained)
IV. Senate Report from Gary from March’s meeting
a. Next meeting April 4th at 6:00pm North Campus 330 Student Union Building-Alternate needs to attend.
V. Treasurer’s report
a. Budget-approx. 3000
b. Next GNO meeting to be at the Steer Thursday April 5th at 5:30 at the Steer.
c. Motion made for next meetings expense of $400.00 Motion passed in favor 6-0-0 (In favor-opposed-abstained).
d. End of the year party scheduled for Friday May 11 at 7:00pm. Location and budget to be determined. Possible party location sites Falley Allen, Bada Bing, Mac’s on Hertel.
VI. New Business
a. Advertise for new E-board next term:
i. Positions available for next term starting in August for the Fall semester: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Senate Representative, Alternate Representative
ii. Kwasi Adusei for President.
iii. Elections will be held next month during April’s GNO meeting. All graduate nursing students welcome to appy.
VII. Community Service ideas
a. St Lukes community service event coming. Email will be sent out to student body when date and time is scheduled. Please email Ilyana at ilyanara@buffalo.edu for details
VIII. E-Board Report
a. NPA meet and greet April 11th at Giancarlo’s at 6pm. Register at NPA.org
IX. Open Discussion
a. Multi program networking session or party possibly.
