Welcome to the Translational Biophotonics Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Jungeun Jenny Won in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at UB. We aim to address biomedical challenges via advanced imaging technologies and light. We utilize optical imaging methods and build clinically feasible imaging devices and prototypes for biomedical applications. Specifically, our research areas comprise medical imaging, biophotonics, instrumentation, signal processing, and machine learning.
