Keynote Speaker
Brittany Merrill, PhD
Dr. Merrill’s program of research aims to improve the reach, developmental sustainability, and long-term effectiveness of behavioral treatment for childhood attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Her published work spans many topics regarding childhood ADHD including psychopathology, comorbidity, longitudinal outcomes, and evidence-based treatment. She is specifically interested in supporting parents and families via examining parenting behavior and parent stress, tailoring treatments to target key impairments such as academics, and leveraging technology to improve the reach and effectiveness of behavioral treatments. Dr. Merrill’s current, federally-funded research examines parent/child interaction patterns using mobile sensing data and leverages this data to develop personalized, adaptive treatments for children and families.
