2022 Conference Recap
The 3rd annual Western New York Undergraduate Psychology Conference was held in-person on Saturday, April 9th, 2022 in Davis Hall on the University at Buffalo’s North Campus. There were 22 poster presentations and 7 oral presentations. Students and faculty from 7 different institutions across WNY were in attendance (Alfred University, Buffalo State College, D’Youville University, Houghton College, Niagara University, Rochester Institute of Technology, and University at Buffalo)!

Keynote Speaker
Parveen Attai, B.S., B.A., MPH Candidate
Parveen Attai is a Research Coordinator for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She is currently a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology candidate at the University at Buffalo. Parveen is pursuing further education in medicine. She will be speaking on how her psychology and research background has influenced her to seek a career as a clinical and public health professional.
About the WNY Undergraduate Psychology Conference
The goal of this conference is to provide an affordable and convenient opportunity for undergraduate psychology students to present their scientific findings at a research meeting. This conference is specifically designed to be open and inviting to undergraduate students and is a great transition to larger national conventions. Additionally, this conference provides an opportunity for local WNY students and faculty to meet and network.

Presentation formats
Students can give one of two types of presentations: 1) a poster presentation or 2) an oral presentation (10 minute maximum). Presenters must indicate which presentation format they would prefer in their abstract submission. Deadlines
The deadline for abstract submissions has past. We are no long accepting submissions. General registration is also closed. Due to limited space, registration is required in order to attend the conference.
