GBM, Pre-election meeting, and Pi-day celebration–TODAY!

A lot of things happening today, Thursday March 14th! We have two meetings and one event going on from 5pm-8pm in Talbert 103:
 
– General body meeting @ 5pm
– Pre-election meeting @ 6pm (for those interested in running for club positions)
– Pi-Day celebration @ 6:30pm-8pm – come eat all kinds of pie (including pizza) and play some board games!

BMES Blaze Pizza Fundraiser–TOMORROW!

BMES will be having a fundraiser at Blaze Pizza on Niagara Falls Blvd Tomorrow, November 13th from 5:30-8:30 pm. A percentage of every purchase towards the fundraiser goes directly to our club! Come support the club and enjoy some pizza!

Be sure to show them the flyer shown below when you pay for your meal in order for the club to get a percentage of the purchase.

Dr. de Faria and Belinda Floyd from the BME Masters program at Cornell University will be coming to give a talk on their program today October 5th!

The event will be held in SU 210 from 11:30am-1:30pm.

All members are welcome to attend. Juniors and seniors will be able to receive fee waivers to apply to Cornell graduate school, a value worth $105!

There will also be free Wegmans subs!

Dr. Peter Elkin from the Bioinformatics Department will be giving a talk today, 10/3 @6pm in Hochstetter 114 on his research on clinical and translational sciences.

SASE/BMES Resume/Interview Workshop TODAY!

The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers and BMES will be hosting a combined event in preparation for the STEM Up Fair TODAY 9/26 @ 6pm in Capen 310!

 

Come get your resume reviewed and practice mock interviews with upperclassmen to get ready for the STEM Up Fair on October 4th! There will be refreshments, as well as some free Google Swag.
