International Conference on Role and Reference Grammar 2019

The biannual International Conference on Role and Reference Grammar (RRG) will take place on August 19-21, 2019, in Buffalo, New York. It will be held in downtown Buffalo at the University at Buffalo’s Educational Opportunity Center, conveniently located near the downtown theater district, local restaurants, and the Buffalo waterfront.

We are pleased to host plenary lectures by Profs. Jürgen Bohnemeyer (University at Buffalo), Daniel Everett (Bentley University), and Wataru Nakamura (Tohoku University).

The 2019 Conference will deal with all aspects of functional linguistics. Papers dealing with further elaboration of RRG in areas such as morphology, syntax, semantics, information structure, as well as language processing and language change are encouraged.
