Current Recruitment Plans

Thank you for your interest in joining The Narrative Lab. I plan to recruit 1-2 graduate students as part of the UB Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program to start in Fall 2027. Please refer to the UB Psychology Admissions page for more information.

I will open up recruitment for research assistants in Spring 2027. Please check back for a link to the research assistant application.

You might be a good fit for the lab if you:  

  • Are interested in contributing to our overall lab aims 
  • Have academic or personal interest in the humanities, arts, or storytelling, in addition to interest in psychological science
  • Resonate with our lab’s community agreements (below) 
  • Undergraduates:
    • Are a current or rising sophomore or junior
    • Have completed some coursework in basic psychology and social science research methods 
    • Can make a two semester commitment (5-10 hours per week)
