From Early Encounters to Equitable Futures: Grounding AI Literacy in Care and Local Systems Change

Led by Dr. X. Christine Wang with Co-PIs Dr. Chris Proctor (University at Buffalo) and Dr. Deborah Silvis (SUNY Cortland), the highly competitive Vision Grant will support a year-long collaborative planning effort with the Western New York Education Equity Task Force, the project’s anchor community partner, to prepare a future transformative research initiative for equitable AI literacy in early childhood.
