Winners of the EE poster competition

The winners of the EE poster competition are:

 

First place:

” High-Efficiency All-Dielectric Metasurfaces for Beam Manipulation in Transmission Mode” presented by Mikhail I. Shalaev (Advisor: Natalia Litchinitser)

 

Second place:

“UB-ANC Emulator: An Emulation Framework for Multi-Agent Drone Networks” presented by Jalil Modares (Advisor: Nicholas Mastronarde)

 

Third place:

“TeraSim: A Network simulator for TeraHertz band Communication Networks” presented by Zahed Hossain (Advisor: Josep Jornet)

 

Honorable mention:

“Evaluating Chromia as a Novel Gate Dielectric for Post-CMOS Spintronics” presented by Chun Pui Kwan (Advisor: Jonathan Bird)

 

Congratulations to all winners! Mikhail Shalaev and Jalil Modares will represent EE for the SEAS poster competition on April 7th.

 

EE Department poster competition

. The competition was held on March 30th, Wednesday, 1-4 PM, in the Atrium (south side) on the 2nd floor of Davis Hall.

The best two posters from the EE competition will represent the Department in the SEAS competition on April 7th, as part of the Career Perspectives and Networking Conference.
