Airport and ground transportation to Buffalo. <\/strong>The Buffalo Niagara International Airport<\/a> is located just over 10 miles away from the University at Buffalo’s Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, where the WSS11 conference will be held. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For ground transportation options upon arrival, please contact your hotel or review this transportation list<\/a> provided by the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amtrak \/ train.<\/strong> Buffalo has two Amtrak stations: Exchange Street<\/a> (in downtown Buffalo) and Depew<\/a> (in the suburbs near the Buffalo Niagara International Airport).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Exchange Street Amtrak station is close to the Niagara Frontier Transit Authority<\/strong> Metro Rail<\/a>, which can be taken up to the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus which is immediately above the Allen\/Medical stop (in the same building). The number 8 NFTA bus also stops right in front of the Jacobs School of Medicine at 955 Main st. Walking is also an option, with about 1.6 miles between the Exchange Street Amtrak station and the JSM campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Depew Amtrak station is just over 10 miles away from campus, with vehicle transportation via taxi or other car service being the best option. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driving, parking, and the local public transportation system. <\/strong>If you are driving to Buffalo in a personal vehicle and do not plan to stay at a hotel, please consult the Buffalo Niagara Medical campus webpage<\/a> for information about how to arrive, where to park, and when to use the local public transportation system (scroll about halfway down to the Visiting the Jacobs School <\/em>section to get started).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
