University at Buffalo Women’s Club<\/h1>\n

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE – The Women\u2019s Club is a non-profit service organization to the University at Buffalo<\/a> and its community.\u00a0 Its members participate in educational and charitable activities which directly sponsor the Grace Capen Academic Awards in the Spring.\u00a0 Membership<\/a> in Women\u2019s Club is open to women who have a commitment to the University and the purposes of the Women\u2019s Club.<\/p>\n

We welcome new members throughout the year. Click on Membership in the menu for instructions to join us.<\/p>\n

Message From the President<\/h2>\n

We\u2019re turning 80-and you\u2019re invited to celebrate with us! The University at Buffalo Women\u2019s Club (UBWC) Steering Committee has planned a year of events highlighting our rich history and lasting impact on the University community.<\/p>\n

With over 325 members, UBWC offers diverse activities to match every interest.\u00a0 Learn more at the September luncheon \u2013 details and contacts are in the brochure.<\/p>\n

Please glance at the Program Calendar.<\/a>\u00a0 These special events, many reflecting our Club\u2019s legacy, are for UBWC members and their guests.\u00a0 Your participation also supports the Grace W. Capen scholastic awards.\u00a0 A small portion of the cost of each event helps finance this endeavor – over $250,000 has been awarded in the last 13 years.<\/p>\n

In March, there will be an exceptional tribute honoring UBWC\u2019s achievements.\u00a0 On March 1st, the prestigious Zodiaque Dance Company will dedicate its performance to the Club on its 80th<\/sup> celebration.\u00a0 We are very honored by this.\u00a0 Mark your calendars – you won\u2019t want to miss it!<\/p>\n

In January, the Nominating Committee will begin filling approximately 40 Executive Board roles.\u00a0 Please consider serving \u2013 or leading an activity group.<\/p>\n

Reservations for the 80th<\/sup> Celebration Kickoff luncheon<\/a> is included in this Trifold.\u00a0 Don\u2019t forget to send yours in ASAP!<\/p>\n
