We are looking to have a book club towards the end of this calendar year, focusing on Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Between-World-Ta-Nehisi-Coates-author\/dp\/0525510303\">https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Between-World-Ta-Nehisi-Coates-author\/dp\/0525510303<\/a>). It is a fascinating and challenging read, examining the role of race in American culture. We are hoping to get a sense of what days\/times would work best for folks. Vance (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Hillbilly-Elegy-Memoir-Family-Culture\/dp\/0062300547\">https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Hillbilly-Elegy-Memoir-Family-Culture\/dp\/0062300547<\/a>), an interesting personal memoir giving insights into cultural aspects in impoverished Appalachia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Psychiatry Film Club<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every year the Department of Psychiatry hosts a film club for interested students, residents, and physicians. \u00a0We have a screening in the Spring and one in the Fall, with themes that vary from year to year. \u00a0A list of films from the past few years are listed below.
