Newly funded by the Graduate School of Education at UB, we are planning to integrate our ongoing and future research into three interconnected areas: (1) AI Literacies Framework and Experiences in ECE; (2) AI Literacies Curriculum, and (3) Child-Centered AI Design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"270\" height=\"158\" src=\"https:\/\/ubwp.buffalo.edu\/playfulai\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/215\/2024\/02\/image12.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-413\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In collaboration with community partners, our interdisciplinary team of researchers across ECE, AI, and computing education strive to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>generate AI-powered innovations in child development, early education, and child-center AI design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>guide caregivers, educators, and designers to support and prepare young children for AI-driven future; and&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>disseminate information to help public and policy makers make informed decisions and policies on AI in ECE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Welcome to the hub of AI and ECE innovation!
