Welcome to the PaLM Lab at the University at Buffalo

We research how to best support children’s early learning to benefit their later mathematical understanding. We specifically identify skills that are predictive of later math learning and explore their development in early childhood. We also design, test and unpack the effects of instructional materials and interventions aimed at supporting the development of those predictive skills.
Dr. Bri Devlin is the lab director. She is an assistant professor in Learning and Instruction.
The PaLM Lab is located in 222 Kimball on UB’S South Campus. We are part of the Graduate School of Education.
