In addition, she is currently working as Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs in the University at Buffalo, College of Arts and Sciences. Kris completed her M.A. at the University of Minnesota and her Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the area of Communicative Disorders &amp; Sciences. He previously worked as postdoctoral researcher in the lab, and is currently a lecturer in the Linguistics program at Utrecht University in The Netherlands, where he also received his BA and Research MA in Linguistics. He received his PhD in Speech and Language Therapy at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland. His research focuses on the assessment of speech in normal and disordered speakers, in particular speech characteristics of persons with dysarthria and apraxia of speech. After a brief clinical experience, however, she realized she was more interested in researching speech therapy than providing it. Thus, she pursued a PhD in Speech and Hearing Science at Ohio State. Her graduate training was primarily in acoustic analysis and indexical perception, and she&#8217;s especially fascinated by the lack of invariance problem. As a Wisconsin native, she may be new to Buffalo\u2014but certainly not to snow! In her free time, Lian enjoys coaching cross country, collecting interesting facts, and attempting to take personality quizzes on behalf of her dog.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h6 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Jordan Manes, PhD<\/b><\/span><br \/><span class=\"s1\"><b>Postdoctoral Research Associate<\/b><\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Jordan completed her PhD in Systems &amp; Cognitive Neuroscience at Northwestern University, specializing in movement and rehabilitation sciences. She also practices as a school-based speech-language pathologist for the North Tonawanda City School District. Olivia is currently working towards her CCC\u2019s as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow servicing the early intervention and preschool populations in Niagara County.
