5/8/24 – There were multiple lab members that presented either a poster or gave a talk at this year’s Ingestive Behavior Research Day. Presenters from our lab included Kiran Kaur, Caroline Kennedy, Ilsa Kloiber, Savannah Martin, and Sabrina Vaillancourt. Great job everyone!
5/3/24 – The lab got together for unlimited sushi night at Saika Sushi.
4/19/24 – Caroline Kennedy presented her poster at the New York State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Annual Meeting and Expo in Syracuse, NY. This is the first study to focus on how diet and estrogen affects the Amylin receptor mRNA expression within the VTA in female rats. Through this, we can further investigate Amylin-mediated feedings to help aid in identifying obesity treatments.
