The IS-GSA prides itself in creating events to keep students up-to-date with the inner workings of the Information Science Department, as well as having “variety events” that meet the interests of students. To accommodate the online-asynchronous nature of the program, the IS-GSA holds all events over Zoom.

If you would like to suggest an event you might like to see the IS-GSA hold, or if you are interested in co-hosting an event with us, please fill out this form.

If you would like to see a calendar view of upcoming events, add our Google calendar to yours! Events will appear as a timeframe of potential occurrence before they are properly scheduled. Once a time and date have been chosen, the calendar will update to reflect that, and a description and Zoom link will be added.

Current Semester’s Events

We’re in the summer semester currently so any events held will be spontaneous. Please keep an eye on your UB email address for event notifications!
