Many of the systems modeled, designed, and fabricated in the lab use <strong>intelligent<\/strong> materials including piezoelectric, magnetostrictive, and shape-memory materials . All of the systems are <strong>dynamic<\/strong> and we specially use nonlinear dynamics methods to analyze and enhance the performance of the systems. We investigate all applications of smart materials including actuation, <strong>energy<\/strong> harvesting, <strong>and sensing systems<\/strong>. The problem range from energy harvesting for regular and biomedical applications, Microelectromechanical systems, renewable energy, and wave propagation in meta-structures. The Principal Investigator of the lab is <a href=\"https:\/\/ubwp.buffalo.edu\/ideas\/m-amin-karami\/\">Dr. M.
