Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. Feel free to leave comments and ask questions about the culture, language, or any other topic I will write about.<\/p>\n<p>I am extremely excited to begin working at a school in Lecher\u00eda, located in Santo Domingo. I will be assisting in various activities in the classroom, as well as providing specialized instruction to children with special needs. In addition, I will be working with CSA&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Alerta Joven<\/em> program and teaching English to adolescents through a community organization by the name of\u00a0<em>Caf\u00e9 con Leche.<\/em> Additional information about me, my placement agency, and the Dominican Republic can be found in other sections of my page.<\/p>\n<p>I hope you will enjoy reading about my experiences in this beautiful country &#8211; and maybe pick up a few Spanish words along the way!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi everyone!
