When a\nuser creates an account, they are then required to choose at least five topics or areas of interest.&nbsp; Once selected these\ntopics they appear on the\nintroductory screen of the app.&nbsp;&nbsp; You can then\n\u201cflip\u201d into a topic area\nwhere you will find recent news\narticles related to that topic.&nbsp; The user can click\non articles they would like to read or they can choose to save them to read later or add them to their own magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The magazine\nfeature allows a user to curate articles for their own purposes.&nbsp; You can provide\nyour own title and description for each magazine.&nbsp; You can then add articles to your\nmagazine.&nbsp; Users\nalso have the ability to enter comments into the\nmagazine to accompany the articles.&nbsp; You\ncan also add images and links to outside web pages to add additional content to your magazine.&nbsp;\nThe user also has the ability to move articles and comments around\nwithin the magazine so that they appear in a\nparticular order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have\ncreated your magazine, you then have the ability to share it with others.&nbsp; This will allow them to see your content and\nadd to it.&nbsp; They also will be able to\npost comments, add articles and other web resources\nto the magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flipboard\nprovides a simple interface to share articles and documents around specific\ntopics.&nbsp; The magazine like user interface\nis easy to navigate and the image heavy focus makes the presentation engaging\nand interesting to the user.&nbsp; The ability to sort and surface articles from\na variety of news sources allows a user to stay in tune with current events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Practice Implications: <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Flipboard\ncould be a useful tool in many courses.&nbsp;\nInstructors could create magazines around specific\ntopics and share those with their students.&nbsp;\nStudents would be able to add to the content and also comment directly\nwithin the magazine on the articles being shared.&nbsp;
