Include a final request to complete the End of Semester Evaluation!\u00a0 Celebrate!\u00a0 You and your students have worked hard this semester. Let them know that you appreciate their participation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Portfolio Reminders<\/strong> (if applicable)<br \/>\nRemind students that their access to the course will be ending and that they should make backup copies of any coursework they may need in the future, particularly if they are in a program with a Portfolio requirement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Week after course ends<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Submit Final Grades<br \/>\n<\/strong>Final grades for the course need to be submitted via MyUB\u00a0\u21d2 HUB Faculty\u00a0Center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>After the Grading Window<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Enrollments in UBlearns End<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">By default, student enrollments in UBlearns course sites are disabled the first business day after grades are due. Instructors will continue to have access to course content only, not to student submissions, interactions or grades. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Instructors may <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.buffalo.edu\/ubit\/service-guides\/teaching-technology\/teaching-services-for-faculty\/ublearns\/managing-courses\/administrative-tasks\/end-of-semester-procedures.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">extend or return student access<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to past semester course sites for an <\/span><b>incomplete grade<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> or to <\/span><b>view student grades, postings, and submissions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><b>Export\/Archive Your UBlearns Course<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Instructors are responsible for <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.buffalo.edu\/ubit\/service-guides\/teaching-technology\/teaching-services-for-faculty\/ublearns\/managing-courses\/saving-and-reusing-courses\/export-archive-course.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">backing up their UBlearns courses<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Courses will be removed from UBlearns 12 months after the end of the semester.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Preparing for the Upcoming Semester<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Enable your course on UBlearns<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You must <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.buffalo.edu\/ubit\/service-guides\/teaching-technology\/teaching-services-for-faculty\/ublearns\/getting-started\/enable-courses.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">enable a course<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> before it is visible to your students.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Set the enrollment date<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">By default, students will be added to an enabled course on the official course start date. It is recommended that you <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.buffalo.edu\/ubit\/service-guides\/teaching-technology\/teaching-services-for-faculty\/ublearns\/getting-started\/student-enrollments.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">modify the enrollment date<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to \u00a0allow students to access your course in advance of the start date so they may gain access to important course information (syllabus, textbook, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Participate in a Professional Development opportunity<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Visit <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ubwp.buffalo.edu\/gsengage\/category\/professional-development\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">GSEngage<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to view upcoming development and faculty support offerings.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wrapping up your online course.
