On Friday, May 12th from 4-7pm we will be hosting the 4th annual Interdisciplinary Social Science and Humanities Symposium.\u00a0 This year it is based on forming collaborative research projects with graduate students on social and environmental issues in the Buffalo region, such as drinking water quality and income inequality in our community.\u00a0 Dinner will be provided, and there will be a keynote panel consisting of professors from several departments. After the panel, there will be a roundtable session connecting students\u00a0from different disciplines that have\u00a0similar research interests.<\/p>\n
Graduate students at any stage in the process should definitely come.\u00a0 Even if you are just thinking through your thesis or dissertation idea, it is never too early to work with other researchers on collaborative projects, or hear about what students in other disciplines are studying.\u00a0 Plus, the keynote panel will be a great source of information.<\/p>\n
