The Graduate History Association of the University at Buffalo will host its 26th Annual Conference with the theme \u201cChanging Urban Landscapes: Shifts in Communities, Spaces and Identity.\u201d<\/p>\n
This year, we have invited historian Mauricio Tenorio, a professor from the University of Chicago, to give the keynote address. Specializing in the cultural and social history of Mexican urbanism, particularly of Mexico City, Dr. Tenorio will provide a talk entitled \u201cHistory and the Megalopolis.\u201d His recent book Latin America: The Allure and Power of an Idea will be published next month.<\/p>\n
We are also excited to highlight the diversity of Buffalo by offering food from the Westside Bazaar, a small business incubator supporting\u00a0immigrant, refugee, and low-income entrepreneurs on their path to becoming successful business owners.<\/p>\n
