Dear UB Student Organization Members–\u00a0\u00a0 This year, as in the past 4 years, the Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB)<\/strong> is holding its annual VISIONWALK<\/strong>, to raise money for eye research aimed at finding cures, treatments, and preventions for blinding eye diseases.<\/p>\n

The reason I\u2019m contacting you today is that WE NEED STUDENT VOLUNTEERS to walk in the VisionWalk event and also to help out at the walk sight.\u00a0 PLEASE HELP US GET THE WORD OUT.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a great opportunity for students to perform local community service, and for a very good cause.\u00a0 Last year, we were fortunate to have several UB students participate.<\/p>\n

The VisionWalk event will take place on SATURDAY, MAY 14, 2016, starting at 9:00am, at CANALSIDE- Great Lawn (see flyer, attached)<\/strong><\/p>\n

I you would like to affiliate with a team, I\u2019d welcome you to join me and my faculty colleagues from the Department of Ophthalmology.<\/p>\n

Our team is called the \u201cRoss Eye Institute Illuminators\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
