“Sizdah be dar” marks a traditional Iranian celebration observed on the thirteenth day of the Persian New Year, also known as Nowruz. The phrase translates to “thirteen to out,” reflecting the custom of spending the day outdoors. This practice is believed to ward off bad luck and misfortune for the upcoming year. Families and friends come together on this occasion, enjoying elaborate meals and festive decorations.<\/p>\n
