These grants are designed to support programs that enrich the educational, cultural, recreational, and social experiences at UB through new or expanded programs.<\/p>\n<p>COAL is made up of presidents from nearly all of UB\u2019s student governments to serve as a unified platform across campuses. Each year, COAL offers programming grants to allow student organizations under each government to apply to secure funding for their programs to make a real difference in student life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important Dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications Open: <\/strong>Tuesday, September 8<sup>th<\/sup>, 2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a0Friday, September 26<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0at 11:59 PM<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notifications Sent:<\/strong>\u00a0by Friday, October 30<sup>th<\/sup>, 2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Eligibility: <\/strong>Your club must be recognized by the Graduate Student Association\u00a0and have funds centralized in an FSA agency account (which you all do). Grants may be used to <strong>fund<\/strong> <strong>new programs or expand existing programs.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Application Process<\/strong>: Club presidents or treasurers should complete the application (<strong>Parts I-III<\/strong>), then submit it to Sarah MacDougall (<a href=\"mailto:gsa-president@buffalo.edu\">gsa-president@buffalo.edu<\/a>) and Dan Kulesza (<a href=\"mailto:gsa-treasurer@buffalo.edu\">gsa-treasurer@buffalo.edu<\/a>) for approval. The GSA President will then forward applications to COAL.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Maximum Award<\/strong>: Up to $5,000 per application.
