SUMMARY:Mandatory Officer Training Meeting
DESCRIPTION:In order to ensure that all club officers understand the system of encumbrances\, reimbursements\, special funding requests\, etc.\, the GSA Executive Committee sets up a series of special meetings for GSA club officers. \nThese meetings will review GSA club policies and guidelines\, and will outline your duties as officers. Please be advised that your attendance at one of these meetings is MANDATORY\, for club Presidents and Treasurers. Your other club officers and club members are welcome\, but this is a meeting for you. If you fail to attend\, your club’s budget for the year will be frozen. \nEach meeting will be about an hour and a half (with the exception of the October 20th date\, which will be shortened for returning officers). Choose the meeting with the most convenient date and time from the following list: \nSept. 18 (Monday) 12:00 p.m. – 330 Student Union\, North Campus\nOct. 18 (Wednesday) 10:00 a.m. – 330 Student Union\, North Campus\nOct. 19 (Thursday) 7:00 p.m. – 105 Harriman Hall\, South Campus\n*Oct. 20 (Friday) 4:00 p.m. – 330 Student Union\, North Campus (for returning officers only – requires prior registration)

As CEO of Fortalice Solutions\, an industry-leading security consulting company\, and co-founder of Dark Cubed\, a cybersecurity product company\, Payton is a proven leader and influencer who works with clients and colleagues to uncover strategic opportunities and identify new and emerging threats. \nPayton began her career in financial services\, where she coupled her deep understanding of technology systems with visionary leadership\, executing complex IT strategies and winning new business. Following executive roles at Bank of America and Wachovia\, Payton served as the first female chief information officer at the White House\, overseeing IT operations for President George W.
