SUMMARY:Western New York Vision Walk
DESCRIPTION:Dear UB Faculty\, Students\, and Staff–   This year\, as in the past 5 years\, the Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) is holding its annual Western NY VISIONWALK\, to raise money for eye research aimed at finding cures\, treatments\, and preventions for blinding eye diseases. \n[For more information about this\, see:  VISIONWALK.org]\nThe 6th Annual WESTERN NY VisionWalk event will take place on SATURDAY\, MAY 20\, 2016\, starting at 9:00am\, in downtown Buffalo at CANALSIDE- Great Lawn (see flyer\, attached) \nPLEASE JOIN US and HELP US GET THE WORD OUT. \nThis is a great opportunity to perform local community service\, and for a very good cause.  Last year\, we were fortunate to have several UB students\, faculty\, and staff participate. \nIf you would like to affiliate with a team\, I’d welcome you to join me and my faculty colleagues from the Department of Ophthalmology. \nOur team is called the “Ross Eye Institute Illuminators” \nhttp://www.fightblindness.org/site/TR/VISIONWALK/VisionWalktr?pg=entry&fr_id=5819#.WK80wfKtVLH \nYou can sign up as a walker\, and/or donate to the cause\, online via the URL above.  ANY amount would be greatly appreciated. \nThanks for your consideration of this request.  I hope to see you at the VisionWalk on May 20th!
