DESCRIPTION:According to the mandate of the Graduate Student Association (GSA) Senate\, Special Interest and International Clubs must apply for annual recognition. Recognition must take place at one of the FALL GSA Senate Meetings (September 9\, October 7\, November 4 or December 2). \nAll application materials are due in the GSA office before the close of business to have your club’s recognition considered at the December 2nd Senate Meeting. \n*PLEASE NOTE* The November deadline is on Tuesday instead of Wednesday due to Fall Recess.  This is the final deadline to apply for club recognition for the 2015-2016 academic year!

DESCRIPTION:UB Global Health Club (GHC) is a GSA-funded special interest club that aims to create a community interested in public health issues of global relevance. The club hosts two talks per month\, given by people within and outside of the UB community who are involved in international public health and refugees-related issues. The talks present great opportunities for UB students to explore their areas of interest\, find out more information on research and fieldwork opportunities\, and become involved in local volunteer / fund-raising activities.
