SUMMARY:GSE Research Symposium
DESCRIPTION:The 21st annual Graduate School of Education (GSE) Research Symposium\, “Rethinking Access: Developing Multicultural Pathways in Education” will host about 50 graduate student presenters.  The GSE Symposium aspires to give graduate students authentic experiences before they begin their first years as professionals in a range of fields.  To help build this connection\, within the GSE\, the University at Buffalo\, and to showcase the extraordinary work that is being pursued by all GSE and UB students\, the Symposium invites graduate students to present the research or degree related work in an environment that imitates regional\, national\, and international conferences important to various fields’ associations and affiliations.  The welcome address will be delivered by Dr. Terrell L. Strayhorn\, Associate Professor of the College of Education and Human Ecology at the Ohio State University.

SUMMARY:Mon Pire Cauchemar ~ French Connection Movie Night
DESCRIPTION:TFC Movie Night: Mon Pire Cauchemar (2011)\, 930 Clemens\, Thursday April 10th at 8:15pm. \nBonjour à tous\, \nThe French Connection is pleased to invite you to our next movie\, Mon Pire cauchemar\, a comedy about Agathe a successful art dealer who lives with her husband François and their son Adrien in a wealthy quarter of Paris. Unfortunately Adrien is an underachiever at his school. Moreover the family has an abandoned construction site in their flat. The situation gets stirred up when Adrien befriends a classmate who has a rather dubious social background. His friend is raised by a single father named Patrick who has neither a proper home nor tact. Although Agathe is obviously distressed by Patrick’s unpolished behaviour\, her husband François just hires him to take care of the overdue repairs. François and Patrick even become friends… \n As usual\, popcorn and refreshments will be served before the movie. Please refer to the poster for more information and check out the trailer!
