Weather permitting, the first location to experience totality will be on Mexico&#8217;s Pacific coast at around 11:07 am PDT. The eclipse will then travel northeast across the United States, from Texas to Maine, with totality lasting for up to several minutes in different locations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Citizen Continental-America Telescope Eclipse (<a href=\"https:\/\/eclipse.boulder.swri.edu\/citizen-cate-2024\/\">CATE 2024<\/a>) is a project that will use a network of telescopes to observe the Sun&#8217;s corona during the eclipse. <strong>Our RSL team at the University at Buffalo<\/strong> has been selected to lead one of the CATE sites (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/u\/1\/viewer?ll=39.41752596243847%2C-75.32050974360031&amp;z=5&amp;mid=1a8WjUKiiqIGT1n7e7rEbBk7CsHxWvsQ\">See the location of the sites here<\/a>). Please note that parking spaces are extremely limited, so if you plan to join us, kindly reach out in advance to secure parking arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, we&#8217;re excited to announce that we will probably be live-streaming the breathtaking moments of the eclipse. For those unable to attend in person, you can still witness the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, we will continuously update our webpage with the latest information.
