I&#8217;m Alexandra and I am currently a second year undergraduate student majoring in geology with minors in physics and math. I joined the Glacier Modeling lab fall semester of my sophomore year and plan to continue working in the spring semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">Project<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently I am working as a research assistant for PhD candidate Naureen Khan. Using both Sentinel-1 SAR and Sentinel-2 images, I manually digitize labels of crevasse fields and supraglacial streams\/lakes over the Greenland ice sheet in QGIS. These labels are then used to train MimiNet, a deep learning model developed by Naureen to help detect crevasse fields on the ice sheet.
