DESCRIPTION:When: 5:30 pm \nWhere: 76 Pearl St\, Buffalo\, NY 14202 \nWhat: Revising the Middle to Late Glacial History of Central & Western NY \nClick Here for More Information and to Register\nAbstract:\n\n\nThis presentation will concentrate on the most recent field evidence that establishes the details concerning middle Wisconsin (39\,000 years BP) through late Wisconsin (13\,000 years BP; Younger Dryas cooling event) glacial advances from the Cayuga basin in the east through the Genesee Valley and further into the Cattaraugus basin of western NY.  These data will require a significant revision of peer reviewed publications on this subject and should be of interest to engineering geologists concerned with the correct glacial stratigraphy associated with projects throughout this area.\nSpeaker Bio:\n \n\nRichard A.
