I am employing concurrent techniques to achieve sustainable design and operation of renewable energy and adaptive aerodynamic structures. My work also has broader impacts that will promote productivity, reliability, maintainability, and adaptability. I recognize the benefits my techniques will have in defining the frontier in sustainable system design. I am excited about the impact my work can have on sustainable development and the quality of life. Model-based realization of cyber-physical systems also offers a foundation to grow my research program in the coming years.
