DESCRIPTION:The CSEE department and the CSEE-GSA are hosting the annual end-of-semester potluck on Friday\, December 9th\, at 4:30 at Ketter 101! We invite all the graduate students. faculty members and staffs. Celebrate the last day of classes with your friends and the graduating students in their last semester of their graduate program. \nThe theme of the of the event is Around the World\, so please bring a dish to pass from your home country!  We will be holding a contest for the best dishes in three categories: appetizer\, main course\, and dessert. Two winners will be selected for each category by your vote: \n1)First Place:      $50 \n2)Second Place: $25 \nEveryone’s busy for exam week\, but this event will give us all a chance of refreshment! SUMMARY:Hiking & BBQ at Letchworth State Park
DESCRIPTION:CSEE-GSA will organize a hiking and barbecue trip at Letchworth State Park for Sunday October 16th. It is open to all graduate students\, families\, faculty members\, and staff in the CSEE department.   The park is extremely beautiful during fall season with the change of leaves and numerous hiking paths.  It was also voted as one of the top 10 park in USA in a survey by USA Today. \nThe trip will start at 9.00 AM from Ketter Hall and it will take one and half hour to reach the park by car.  CSEE GSA will pick up the cost of the food\, drinks\, and anything else we need to barbecue.  A shelter in Middle Falls has been reserved for the event which will start at 11.00 AM and run till evening. \nWe will set up a carpool arrangement for people who need ride. We have developed a survey to determine how many people are actually interested in attending the event and also how many vehicles we can get. The link is shown below. Please fill out the form only if you can make it.
