The group synthesizes organic, inorganic, and organometallic complexes with an emphasis on assembling structurally complex polynuclear architectures. The building blocks comprising these metallacycles, cages, and frameworks are designed to introduce functionalities that enable redox chemistry, fluorescence, phosphorescence, host-guest chemistry, and catalysis.
