Raktim Mukhopadhyay, Ph.D.
Raktim is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Biostatistics at the State University of New York at Buffalo, working within Dr. Marianthi Markatou’s group. He earned his Ph.D. in Computational and Data-enabled Sciences and Engineering from SUNY Buffalo under the supervision of Dr. Markatou.
He conducts research on statistical machine learning and inference methods to extract knowledge from large and complex data sets. Part of his work is motivated by the search of social determinants of health that can drive better healthcare delivery models. The second part of Raktim’s work concentrates on developing methods for identifying safety issues associated with the use of medical products.
